About the shelter
Hillside Paws Rescue is a cat shelter in Tyler, Texas, run by Aunt Carol, who has been rescuing animals since 2015. Today, more than 50 rescued cats call it home.
Running it takes food (around 175 lbs a month), vet care, spaying and neutering, and rent and utilities — every single month. The Supporters Club is how our community helps cover those everyday costs, and in return you get a front-row seat to the cats' lives.
The shelter exists because of Aunt Carol's community of more than 70,000 followers, who have trusted her from the start. The Supporters Club is a way to be even closer to it.
